Three Pakistani Powerhouses Conquer Forbes Asia’s 2026 “Best Under A Billion” List!

Pakistan’s corporate sector is making serious waves on the global stage! In a massive win for the country’s business landscape, three dynamic Pakistani firms—Murree Brewery, Systems Limited, and Sazgar Engineering Works—have officially been crowned in Forbes Asia’s prestigious Best Under A Billion 2026 list.

This elite list celebrates 200 of the top-performing, publicly listed companies across the entire Asia Pacific region. To make the cut, companies must boast annual sales between $10 million and $1 billion. More impressively, Forbes highlighted that these trailblazers achieved their stellar financial performance while successfully battling fierce global headwinds, including volatile energy markets and geopolitical tensions.

Here is a closer look at the three Pakistani champions representing the consumer goods, tech, and automotive sectors:

  • Systems Limited (The Tech Titan): Leading the charge with a massive market value of $759 million, this powerhouse reported $286 million in sales. As a global software development and business process outsourcing leader, Systems Limited serves a massive clientele spanning the US, UK, EU, and the Middle East.

  • Sazgar Engineering Works (The Auto Innovator): This Lahore-based automotive giant raked in an impressive $389 million in sales and a net income of $58 million. Established as a private limited company in 1991 and going public in 1994, Sazgar has become a dominant force in manufacturing automobiles, auto parts, and household electronics.

  • Murree Brewery (The Historic Heavyweight): Proving that legacy pays off, this historic company (established way back in 1861!) recorded $102 million in net sales and a market valuation of $92 million. Operating since before the subcontinent’s partition, they continue to manufacture and sell a wide range of popular consumer products.

This triple victory is a powerful testament to the resilience, innovation, and unstoppable growth potential of Pakistan’s diverse corporate sectors on the international map.
