BYD Explores Bringing Ultra-Fast EV Charging to Pakistan

BYD is discussing the introduction of its next-generation ultra-fast charging technology in Pakistan with local partner Mega Motor Company.

The talks concern how the company’s Mega Flash Charging technology could serve Pakistani customers, according to reported comments from BYD executive Liu Xueliang.

Technology Under Consideration

The charging system works with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery. Published technical reports describe support for up to 1,500 kW through a single connector.

That figure represents the technology’s stated capability, rather than a confirmed charging speed available in Pakistan.

Local Rollout Remains Unconfirmed

A Pakistan launch date, station locations and installation schedule have not been announced.

Details about compatible locally sold vehicles will also be needed before customers can assess what charging performance they could access.
